Short version: the only personal data this site handles is what you type into the contact form, plus the technical logs any web server keeps. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no selling. This page spells that out properly, as the GDPR requires.
The data controller is [Your full name] (EI), 91 route des romains, 67200, Strasbourg, France — reachable at contact@mainquest.media. Full identification details are on the legal notice page.
When you use the form on the main page we receive what you send: your name, studio name, email address, the service you select, your message, and the answer to the small anti-spam question. We use it for exactly one thing — reading your message and replying to it.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — you are writing to us about working together, and we need your message and email address to answer.
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps short-lived technical logs (including IP addresses) for security and abuse prevention. These are handled by our hosting provider and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social trackers, and the site stores almost nothing in your browser — see the cookie policy. If you email us directly, we hold your message in our mailbox under the same principles as the contact form.
The site is hosted, and form submissions are received and stored, by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as our processor. Netlify is a US company, so your form submission is transferred to the United States under the safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR — Netlify's data-processing terms rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Also part of the pipeline: Netlify's built-in spam filtering (Akismet) screens form submissions. We share your data with no one else, and we never sell it.
Contact-form messages and the email exchanges that follow are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and the work that may come out of it, and at most 24 months after our last exchange, unless a contract (and the legal retention duties that come with it) takes over. The host's technical logs are kept for a short period defined by the host, then deleted.
Under the GDPR you can, at any time and free of charge:
To exercise any of these, write to contact@mainquest.media — a person answers, not an autoresponder. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your own country.
If we ever add a tool that processes personal data — analytics, a newsletter, a booking widget — this page changes first and the "Last updated" date above moves. We do not add trackers quietly.
Questions about this policy or about your data: contact@mainquest.media.
